v.YouTube
A place for YouTube videos.
YouTube is a global video-sharing website with over a billion active users. Our goal is to provide a censorship-free environment, for both creators and connoisseurs, to share videos, and participate in intelligent discussions.
Guidelines
While no video content is restricted, we do ask that users keep the following in mind before posting.
Allowed
YouTube videos. We do not allow media from other video-sharing websites, including Vimeo and Live Leak, or formats such as WebM. Instead, consider submitting to v.Videos.
Self posts. We're interested in intelligent, meaningful discussion about YouTube, including its announcements, features, design, and other trends. Your personal stories are also welcomed and encouraged.
YouTube channels. When one video isn't enough, we do allow direct links to interesting YouTube channels. However, please use the comments section to give us some insight into the channel, such as what kinds of videos it produces.
YouTube playlists. You can share interesting playlists as well, see above.
Not allowed
Spam. While self promotion is encouraged, blatant spam will result in a ban. You can submit your own videos, as long as you do so in moderation, and don't submit the same video more than once.
Witch hunts. Not allowed. You will be banned.
