Don't write for others... Don't write for yourself... Write for a muse. Be it person, object, memory, or pain. Be it the happiest moment in your entire life forever inspring your pen or the most cushing rejection you've ever felt moving the cursor along while the tears line your face. The muse is everything, the muse is nothing. But even when it's gone from your attention, it's always ever present in the back of your mind waiting for your inspiration to remind you... You don't choose to write. Writing chooses to tell its stories through you.

Hmm. What's your stance on rewriting? Do you save your darlings or murder them?
