I'm in. Let's do this.

Edit: How about we just do this as democratically as we can? Majority vote makes canon? 10% or more can nominate something as canonical?

I too am willing to contribute to this idea. Has anything become of it since it's proposition?

I was a part of a collaborative worldbuilding project over at /r/terova back on the other website which shall not be named. Generally, it was easy for anything anyone proposes to become canon at a sort of first-come-first-serve basis, but the problem with that was that, every once in a while, a sort of dumb idea or name would come up, and we would be forced to include it.

A possible solution to the problem could be that, in every thread/idea, a mod/bot could post something like "voat to make this canon," and like you said majority vote makes it canon.

that said, i'm in and willing to contribute

Ahhh at last someone responds I've been checking this religiously to no avail. The thing with having a vote is: who gets to vote? Anyone who comes wandering by the subverse? People who have submitted content to the world? I was also entertaining the idea of selecting a group of people to act as leadership for the world who would decide what was canon and what wasn't.
