Well, there are specialized programs that have folders and tags. Wikias seem to be a popular choice too. On my own case, I just made an Index Doc with links to the others and it has so far worked fine for multiple series.

I intend to use a wikia later on when I feel more comfortable with what I have, so that's kept as an option.

Unfortunately I'm on the go a lot and a number of the specialized programs aren't as useful as they could be.

With your input on the Index Doc, I'll reorganize a lot of my documents and related items to see how well it turns out.

I've used TerraChronica in the past, which is a great way to make a database with separate pages for separate entities. A paid service called notebook.ai is also available, which you could take a look at. I've used both of them, and they are great tools.
