I did the research and all of the states seeing huge spikes, like Texas, are the same states that had the biggest protests and riots with 10,000s of people packed in. Just look at the drone footage from Texas.
Now they will try to blame it on Trumps covid response. I don't see anyone talking about this on the right or left.
Im growing tired of the lies and im only 19.

My impression is that it’s at least partly a manipulated political thing:
More testing gives more results and more positives.
They lump tests for virus and antibodies together. A positive antibody test could actually mean someone has had it and recovered, a good thing.
The criteria for a diagnosis can be very relaxed. In some cases they just infer someone has the virus because of some symptom, e.g. a cough.
Contact tracing by smartphone apps has kicked in: Once they infer you have Covid they can infer people you have been close to have it!
Anti-Trump politicians could manipulate this and the media gleefully amplifies it.
The actual death rate per day has been lower than it’s been in a while. That’s the most significant metric, yet the media emphasizes positive cases found per day (The other day I saw an article that grudgingly mentioned this but muttered about pending death certificates, sure enough now it’s trending up.)
