He would get pissed if someone made fun of him. He wasn't a tranny and he wasn't section 8 crazy. He just wanted to get back to Toledo. The ending of MAS*H Clinger stayed behind in Korea with his love. haha
I still watch it. I've seen every episode a million times and still love it.
I can only find seasons one and two without a laugh track.
When it originally aired there was no laugh track, that was added in reruns for the American audience.
The gallows humor is actually poingant and thought provoking. Add the laugh track and it idistracts from the point being made and degrades the value of what is being said.
This is still how they are viewed today, but either it is convenient to pretend otherwise to support whatever narrative you are promoting, or it is too dangerous to question said narrative in the first place.
But we all know they are crazy in the head (and I suspect they know it too at some level) -- that hasn't changed.
It's because trannies are the funniest form of comedy EVER. A man dressed as a womyn is literally the funniest things ever to me. We are literally living in clown world, the world is a joke and hilarious.

Are you watching without the laugh track? So much better.

Probably a little bit of both. I don't like laugh tracks. It ruins the experience.

He was not crazy but knew a man in drag was considered crazy.
Surprising that some butt hurt tranny has not campaigned to have the show removed.

He also displayed how straight he was too, multiple times.

Monty Python used males to play female parts. That was funny.

Just put underpants on your head and stick pencil erasers up your nose. That's what we did in the Sudan.

You might be mistaking a cosmetic element for a thematic element. BELLLLLLCH!!!
