What seperates you from sli.mg?

You seem like a respectable guy.

Competition is a wonderful thing, and you can succeed by solving problems and making what you do less painful than the next service over. Really analyze how people use your service (and the other ones!) and you'll start to see how you can differentiate in valuable ways.

You won't have a chance as long as you don't implement SSL (properly SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN).

Well, it's called imgTC.com which is much more appealing to the masses compared to sli.mg which is new and scary. Being serious, since people like .com better and it does have img in the name.

Concurrence is always good for innovation. And the more image hosts there are, the less harm there is if one goes down.

The problem with your mindset, or the mindset the question is coming from, is this: If you decide that 1 service is better than every other, you have effectively given them a monopoly. A monopoloy which can be bought and manipulated by the elite as they see fit. If we have 10 image services, ALL being used to an equal amount, it's close to impossible to buy them all up and censore content. Because once they start doing that with one ,the user mass will move over to the ones not censoring.

I'm pretty tired here, so I might have put this down more eloquently. I hope I got my message through, though.

Always nice to see a new image hoster. Good luck.

do you have a good system for speedy removal of illegal content, and a good legal policy to cover your ass?

are you prepared to hire a lawyer at short notice?

are you going to remove the facebook and google scripts running on your site?

Doesn't work for me. In-voat shows nothing, clicking the link I get a player saying "No video with supported format and MIME type found." With Firefox 50.0a1 (2016-07-11)

One question I have. How much does it hurt you if people direct link your images? I've always wondered about it and want to use newer image hosts but I don't want to hurt little guys like you either. Do your images generate a thumb without direct linking?

Alright thanks. Can you show me an example of one of your images used on Voat then?

Edit: NVM I found it thanks again

Are you going to get your company to a well respected level and then shit your position away by attempting to thought police the users, like fb, eddit, and twatter? Cuz that shits geyy

I can get behind that. But remember, its easy now to say you have no interest in public sway of opinion. You get enough traffic, and suddenly the government forms a program like prism that offers you vast sums of money to have a change of heart regarding the issue. We all are watching it in real time on sites we are all familiar with.
