What is it with these wankers? They have their pathetic hug box over at Reddit but that aint enough for them. They have to spread their retardation here as well. Fuck these people - seriously.

The problem is that they believe they are the righteous vangard of morality. Anything is justified under that stance. It is not enough to ignore our arguments, no one way be allowed to hear them at all.

The ability to downvote should not be tied to your vote tallies, as it encourages behavior such as this.

Have noticed that @HenryCorp's CCP has been slowly rising since he deleted his comments. it bottomed out at 106, from what I saw, but it is up to 121, even there are no comments within the last 2 weeks. I he creating alts and trying to build himself back up? How do we fight that? Is he the new @amalek now that he left for our sins?

It's a flaw in the voting system that @atko and @puttitout are brainstorming to address. They deactivate downvotes after 7 days but leave upvotes functional. Spammers can resuscitate their accounts this way. Clearly he has alts or his little reddit clique upvoting his old comments.

Disclaimer: I am in no way encouraging people to brigade this ass clown's account. I am simply explaining how he can regain ccp.

In fact, we should strongly encourage people to not brigade as some are doing in the comments above... this never ends well.

This, you should post this to /v/ideasforvoat, or /v/voatdev.

It's been tossed out before, even back when they implemented the 7-Day Rule. Tho... might be time to toss out again.

He is just the visible face. The cancer is his group. Target the subverses themselves. Down voat all the comments and down voat all the submissions. Make it an automatic loss of comment and submission points to post. This will force them to raise the down voat minimum and make their subverses invisible to v/all. Then shitpost the subverses with sockpuppets. This will force them to limit posts to approved submitters. Cripple their ability to spread the reddit horse shit. Pay attention to the people who moderate those subverses with him. Look at the other subverses they mod. Time to burn their network.

What does pinging @HenryCorp do?

[–] Cynabuns 1 points 12 points (+13|-1) ago

He gets a message (or a thousand) in his inbox.

[–] mqrmqr [S] 1 points 10 points (+11|-1) ago

It spams his inbox, the mail icon between the light bulb and "log off" that turns red when you get a message.

I don't think it is a good idea to encourage brigading no matter who it is.

Wasn't there a change made a while ago that prevents deleting comments from affecting CCP?

[–] mqrmqr [S] 2 points 9 points (+11|-2) ago

It keeps @HenryCorp's ccp from going down even further.

The change made it so that, if you deleted a comment with -41 points, it wouldn't be like instantly getting those 41 points added back to your CCP.

The guy is banning people from subs who have never visitied based purely on their personal opionons. Have a statistically based opinion on race? Now you can't have any opinion on the environment.

Some ban descriptions list being a moron. The guy bans people from subs as a dislike button.

@HenryCorp was caught in the practice of banning people from the subverses he mods whom haven't ever posted on them. Along with this, he was revealed to do the same practice at a much larger level on his reddit account, modding 217 subreddits. He also suggested that users of certain subverses should be mass-banned.

Reddit user HenryCorp is a Reddit power mod taking over voat subverse and banning people who have never posted to them.

Clearly we should brigade his comments to protect free speech.

[–] mqrmqr [S] 6 points 14 points (+20|-6) ago

If he was only expressing unpopular opinions, I would agree. But he is a Reddit "poweruser" modding 217 subreddits. He shouldn't control anything on Voat, but, surprise surprise, he mods the maximum of 10 subverses on voat.

9
9

[–] mamwad 9 points 9 points (+18|-9) ago

And those subs are small and insignificant. The fact that he is restricted from modding more than 10 subs prevents him from doing any significant damage to free speech on voat. Let him curate his shitty subs. No one will post to them and they will die. Other subs will be created and moderated in a better fashion.

Think of voat as a market. Users have choices, and those choices determine whether a sub lives or dies. We should be focusing on submitting content in good subs, not bullshit drama.

[–] Phyra 5 points 4 points (+9|-5) ago

Yeah, voat doesn't always appreciate it's own irony enough. Upvoat and downvoat should be "contributes to the discussion" vs "spam"

It unfortunately didn't work there and doesn't work here. I've proposed a better system, www.tweakers.nl it kinda fell on deaf ears.

I dislike any censorship and any needless downvoating.

Offcourse, I'm also a hypocrite and would love to throw some extra downvoats at @HenryCorp for being a censoring faggot.

HenryCorp doesn't control any subs important enough to worry about. This is just people stirring drama because they can.
