Archived Is there a good, free, video editor out there? (whatever)

Does anyone know of a free video editor? I guess I would prefer it to be a program I could run rather than a website, and I want it to be safe. I really don't need much, just Windows Movie Maker level stuff. My Windows Movie Maker apparently has a problem with exporting to MP4 and won't even give me the option.

OpenShot is super simple. Licence: GPLv3 (free software), no cost.
Blender is not simple but super good. Licence: GPL (free software), no cost.
