I can't think of anyplace in the USA a black person could not safely live because of his race. Where are there "no-go zones" for black people?

The south. Some places are just as bad, if not worse, as ghettos for white people.

How much time have you spent in the south? As a yankee transplant, one of the first things I noticed was how mixed the poor rural neighborhoods are (tennessee/alabama/georgia). There are no "white" or "black" neighborhoods that I have seen. That seems to be confined to urban areas. I do agree that there some places where a lone muslim would be a target.
