Vengeance/vigilantism isn't a hate crime, that's why.

A hate crime (also known as a bias-motivated crime) is a prejudice-motivated crime, often violent, which occurs when a perpetrator targets a victim because of his or her membership (or perceived membership) in a certain social group.

The man saying, "now that's justice for Trayvon," only shows that he was motivated by a perceived injustice, not by the victim's group status.

An injustice by a white man (wasnt zimmerman mexican or somethin?), to which he is dolling out justice because of this mans race. Clearly the man doesnt think this man actually killed trayvon, he attacked him because he was white

Yeah if he was attacking Zimmerman I wouldn't give a fuck. Guy is a shit. But attacking some random ass dude who isn't even related in the least? And isn't even the same race? The fuck.

In that case we will find out when charges are laid if there is enough evidence to support hate crime charges.

But it was done solely on the grounds of his race. Had he been anything other then White he would have been unharmed and another white person attacked.

Then we will find out when charges are laid whether the cops consider it a hate crime. The cops shouldn't be making such judgements before charges are laid especially to the media (but they have made a story of the cop's non-answer anyway).

What would the victim have to do with the injustice against Travyon? Oh, was he the same skin color as the cop who shot hon? Gee that's nothing to do with a race motivated crime then!
