We occasionally have a Kpop night on /v/ModernPowers. In a lot of the songs, they say a word that sounds like "nigger". At first I thought it was just just a coincidence, but we hear it all the time and it is said far too often for it to be accidental.
Is there a Korean word that sounds similar to nigger? If so, what does it mean? This has been troubling us for weeks now, anyone who can shed light on this would be very helpful.
EDIT: Someone on freenode just said "nay ge" is a Chinese phrase that means "that". Is there something similar in Korean?

might be actually nigger. korea, and a lot of asia is surprisingly racist. i mean, some of it cant be "malicous" like it is here is the west.
you know how here, when someone gets a tattoo in chinese, it might say "donkey dick"? if you go to somewhere like japan, you can flip on a tv show, and see christian choir songs sung over christmas decorations of santa, like, the cultural specifics just dont seem to cross over exactly like the culture itself does, if that makes sense.

It isn't nigger. There was one where they unmistakeably said nigger and meant nigger, but the other songs all have a word that isn't nigger, but similar.
