Good for you and just think of all of the hookers you can hire with all of that money that you'll save.

I appreciate the real talk instead of the "PULL YOURSELF UP BY YOUR BOOTSTRAPS! JUST GET OVER IT!"

Also, huge yes on f.lux.

I never really cared much for f.lux. Seems more like a fad/placebo effect than anything.

This is fucking great advice. I find a good sleep, exercise and water crucial to my metal well-being.

Also, one thing you didn't mention, but I think is very helpful, is making sure you have a good healthy diet. Shitty food makes you feel like crap, unsurprisingly.

Drink more water. Lots of water. Water water water. Get one of those insane big gulp mugs from 7/11 and fill it with water and keep it on your desk.

Key advice... make sure the water is clean, aka less than 100PPM mineral salts. That's the little plus doctors have no fucking clue about, water cleans you, and it cleans better if it's clean to begin with...

How would I figure out what the minoral salt content in my tap water is?

I already drink lots of water and this is the first time I'm hearing this.

So I felt like I was getting lazier and lazier for months. Never felt like doing anything, would come home from work and just sit at my computer doing nothing. Couldn't be bothered to even make proper meals. I thought maybe I was suffering from depression or something, even though I didn't really feel SAD, just like I couldn't be bothered to DO anything.

Anyways, long story short, I had lymphoma. It's a really common cancer in young people, and highly treatable/curable. If you're feeling really low-energy and it's to the point you don't even feel like smoking anymore (also one my symptoms) I would recommend talking to your doctor. Have you been sweating a lot at night recently?

Don't just assume it's depression if this is not normal for you.

I don't want to scare you, but yeah, it could be an actual medical issue.

All the best.

I'm afraid something like this will happen to me, specially since I've been pretty sick lately. I'm not a smoker though

That's just a cruel trick so cancer won't provide a sooner release from this mortal coil.

I wish depression caused me to quit smoking. I end up just chain smoking as a way to stop doing other stuff I don't want to do like take care of myself.

MUSHROOMS you need Psycilocibin immediately. Don't wait, you should have been tripping yesterday. Anti-depressants will make you a brain dead zombie, Psycilocibin will show you your dharma.

I can only speak from my own personal experience.

Cannabis, music, and good friends are the only things that helped me wrestle and overcome depression.
