The front page has 25 submissions and 5 are from /Gifs and 4 are from /Science, yet a post from /Politics that has around 100+ upvotes within an hour is on the 2nd page..
And the front page shows different submissions depending on wether or not you're logged on. Shouldn't it always list the same submissions regardless of if I'm logged in or not?
How does the sorting algorithm work? This doesn't even make sense man.

The front-page is based on your subscriptions. If you want to see what voat looks like when you're logged out, click on "default" at the top of the page.

Non logged in front page uses a different algorithm. It's so the front doesn't get flooded by too many posts from the same few subs.

If you're logged in, it won't show blocked subs. So e.g. it doesn't matter how many weirdos upvote /v/niggers, I won't see it.
