That's one of the most appalling things I've ever seen, there's a soldier, behaving maturely, being treated like dirt by morons trained to treat people like animals without rational perception. It may be that some people who they come across lie, and aren't trustworthy, but men who form correct sentences with correct grammar should be listened to in such situations, as it demonstrates 1) a good standard of education and 2) educated parents who took the time to teach their child to speak correctly. These imbeciles have been trained to restrain without the ability to view each situation on it's own merits, they have been drilled like monkeys to restrict without thought. The fact that he was a soldier of two tours also demonstrates character. He was compliant and reasonable, not wild. He was clearly no danger to anyone at that point. I find this is symptomatic of poor police training which seems unfortunately to be endemic in the US leading to hundreds of deaths per year of people of all races. The BLM movement is frankly a vocal expression from a group which is not the only victim, all creeds and colours are in danger where the police are concerned. Black people have historically been the victims, but this is not a colour issue, it is a poor police training issue. Now guns make things more difficult, but the quality of policing in the US is way way below that of many of it friends. It is disturbing and utterly unforgivable in the light of the constitution to which the police forces state allegiance to. Extremely upsetting. It's not difficult to improve. It just needs the support of Congress. Sorry if that sounds like I'm having a go, I'm not anti-USA, all paragons must look in the mirror, and acknowledge their witches, we all have them :)
