The question I'd have regarding this is what sort of applications would utilize such capabilities and is programming keeping up with usage of these possibilities.
I always look at Crysis because it was a piece of software that for a time was nearly impossible to run on average consumer hardware at it's max settings and then the hardware flew through the roof and not much had yet come about that could test those kind of limits.
I'm sure there's simulation software out there suited for using this kind of future tech and it's fascinating to see it develop.
