Eggfuckingxactly and that is PRECISELY the title of this post. Freedom of speech does not mean that you are free from the consequences of that speech. It's really is that simple, yet you seem to want to think that you disagree with me....

Not really. Any employer who fires someone over an FB post does not believe in free speech. What they are legally allowed to do is a different matter. Free speech does mean freedom from reprisal (again, counter-speech is not reprisal). And it can exist. Many subverses on Voat seem to uphold that idea. Redit used to be another such place.
