this has been discussed/observed in the past and most people think it's used by Twitter to filter and ignore those complaints. Now, if this were Tumblr...
Even so, there's miles of difference between being offensive/disrespectful and disagreeing with an opinion. It would have made more sense if they had said something like "attempting to degrade or nullify my opinion" instead, at least it would have been in the same boat.
whatever the difference they share the common trait of being a bullshit complaint that should be ignored. that's actually the best clue that this is the purpose of that option.
No one said anything about it being gounds for a ban... People were probably reporting people for disagreeing with them anyways, and they added that to sift out the ones they can ignore.
pretty sure the option is there so the twitter staff knows they're dealing with someone unstable and irrational that needs a good long talk, rather than immediate action.

I agree. I think that instead of having the SJWs calling and emailing, they provide a space for their complaints to be taken and then trashed

Sadly it seems that they've started to catch onto this and have just started mass spam reporting instead.

This is my thought. I think it's like a complaint bin that feeds right to the shredder.

But they don't realize their view is an opinion, they see it as established fact.
