what's a good alternative for v/news?

The mods there are also awful censors who try to install the same ridiculous rules as on that other site and ignore the opinions of users who complain about not being allowed to use their own titles etc.

If you don't want really political news or just not as serious news /v/casualnews is an option!

Quick question; is 'the other site' how it's referred to on Voat? I've just been calling it Eddit. Even said as much when I messaged Atko a few weeks ago about subscriber transference.
