I expected to see right through the lies and end up being even more convinced the deniers are whack jobs.
Within an hour I became a denier too.
I told my wife what I discovered, and her first words were “You know you can’t tell anyone about this, right? And you know you can’t tell (name withheld) (who is a good friend that converted to Judaism a number of years ago)”
I told my wife he was the first one I told this too. And he even became a disbeliever in the Holocaust.
We were constantly exchanging texts and comparing notes.
I’ve since shared my discoveries with other friends too. As lovers of history, we are all extremely pissed that we’ve been lied to our entire lives.
So thanks Voat for leading me down the rabbit hole. At 57 years old, it’s still better to be late than never to discover the truth.

I’m 57 years old. I never once believed in Holocaust denial. Figured it was something as whacky as belief in a flat earth.
After being constantly presented with links and videos on voat, I finally sat down to watch Europa, The Last Battle.

Voat may disappear, but the signal will live on.
