Fought in combat for operation enduring (((freedom))) a while back. Came back with my physical health still somewhat intact, but a part of me died fighting sand niggers for hook noses in RC south afghan. Took the black pill for 7+ years and drank myself to sleep every night to avoid the nightmares and social anxiety with cheap whiskey and vodka, to the point where I was a handle deep at my worst. Decided that forcing my liver to carry the weight of my self-pity and depression at clown world wasn't sustainable, and tried to cold turkey from daily 750ml self medication of smirnoff.
DONT FUCKING COLD TURKEY IT. Unless you're a nigger or a kike.
I literally almost died and had the worst visual and auditory hallucinations in my life that scrambled my noggin for 2 weeks to the point where doctors thought I had undiagnosed bi polar or schizophrenia. I still only vaguely remember that 2 weeks of tortuous detox in a VA psych ward.
Havent drank or smoked pot in 5 months now, and got back into weight lifting, heavy squats, deadlifts, military presses, benching, and back rows 3x a week, 500 calories under TDEE.
I'm in even better shape than when I was a younger buck jumping out of C-17s, and I have a completely new mental clarity without that (((poison))). Cook your own food, meal prep, stack ammo, edge out that ego, and just be overprepared rather than under prepared when swathes of spear chucking niggers and pink haired hamplanets storm the streets in the coming months.

Just wanted to say great work. Quitting ethanol is not easy, especially if you've been at it for a while.
It's dumb that a potent solvent that's enjoyable to drink is a cultural norm, but it's easy to make and we've been fucking ourselves up with this stuff for a very, very long time. Monkeys get wasted off of ethanol in rotten fruit, even.
It shouldn't ever enter your body. I use ethanol as a solvent, ethanol is in hand sanitizers... because it is is the active ingredient. Not good to drink it.
I'm glad you beat your addiction, but don't be fooled into thinking that you can have a drink after a period of sobriety. Some recovering alcoholics who developed it later can beat their addiction (I did) and have some without going hog wild; but most can't because they are lifetime alcoholics. In their case, it's a genetic thing.

Of course the first thing the jews did when they arrived in the new American colonies was to set up the liquor business along with the African slave trade.

Woo-hoo! Good work.
I quit drinking after, well.... too many years of boozing. I never let it get that out of hand, therefore I was always able to rationalize it. But no more.
Its been about a year now and I am so happy I did it. I did go cold turkey. I did not have serious withdrawal, but I did learn that what I thought was my “emotional dependence”, was in fact a physical one. After about six or eight weeks I just stopped missing it. I dont mean I never miss it. But its pretty minimal.
I am surprised at how easy it was. I should have done it 20 years ago but I didn’t have the proper attitude towards it: that it just robs joy from your sober life to give you that high.
Drinking is such a scam. I was tired of giving my money to some corporation for the privilege of fucking my life up. Plus Im an ass when I drink. I mean worse than my usual, which, those of you who know me....
Well anyway. Keep it up and congratulations.

I was that way too. Just add alcohol, bad to worse.

Every time I drink now I just get annoying and angry about all the things wrong in my life. I almost never get that good buzz feeling anymore. Now I only drink for the flavor.
[–] Helena73 ago
The last few years I felt like I couldn’t even get drunk anymore. I mean I could get technically drunk. But I wasn’t able to really feel the pleasure of it. It was like I was out of joy. I was just doing it for that stress relief I got downing that first beer.
Thing is, the stress went away when I stopped drinking.
Ask yourself if that flavor isn’t the dopamine hit your brain gives you when you give it what it wants. I had a similar experience with quitting cigarettes. The shit doesn’t taste good unless you have an addiction to it.

Glad you succeeded, great job fren. I quit drinking a few years ago after drinking every night, sometimes midday as well, and it’s the best decision I’ve made for myself. The only downside is that I’ve learned that nearly every single mainstream belief is the literal opposite of objective truth.

That's when I started drinking .

Alcoholic here, only a year into it. Some nights it's a full 750ml bottle, some nights it's a few shots, most nights it's between 1/4 and 1/2 a bottle. I know I'm physically addicted because one day several months ago I hit withdrawals after not drinking any alcohol for a few days. Until I saw this post I was planning on cold turkey-ing it next month when I get to take my first vacation in over a year. Guess I need to either extend my vacation with sick days or try another way... Unfortunately, I'm an employee at the only medical corporation in town, so if I'm forced to hospitalize myself for alcohol withdrawal I'll probably loose my job. I only drink at night after my shift, but I don't think that will matter to my bosses.
Congrats on your sobriety and thanks for the warning, niggerfaggotchad.

Thanks, and I hope the best for your planned recovery goat, I hope you get the help you need, I learned that PAWS(post acute withdrawal syndrome) for alcohol can be the worst out of all addictions, so I would definitely suggest some professional medical help to get the right detox meds and maybe detox using your sick days or vacation days, like another poster here was saying about the hallucinations, they were so bad for me I couldn't differentiate between them and reality for a few days. I saw people that weren't there, and was even interacting with them, I had huge lapses in memory like extreme short term memory loss, I could only remember things from my childhood, and other scary things, it felt like I was in hell or purgatory. Not trying to scare anyone, as I probably had extreme symptoms due to my ptsd from the war and with how long I was drinking for, but I managed to skate by with proper treatment and detox when I started experiencing my psychosis.

Switch to beer or wine for a few weeks. Much harder to dose yourself heavily. Then go down a drink at a time till you’re at 2 or 3 a night. You can go cold turkey at that point.
You can do it. Just think of those corporate cunts getting rich off your poisoning, laughing all the way to the bank. Can you picture it? Someone is a billionaire on misery like yours. Millions of dumb goys like us. When that starts to make you angry, you will quit.
[–] matt 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
1/4 bottle is about 4 servings. Most people can drop a daily habit of four servings without much withdrawal. Eight servings a day is a whole other ball game. If you can keep it at four servings for a week or two before quitting you will likely only see anxiety as the primary withdrawal symptom. You can get a short term prescription from your doctor to help with that. You’re looking for something like Xanax or another benzodiazepine (Do not take these pills for more than a week. They are more addictive than alcohol and have worse withdrawal symptoms). You can visit your regular primary care physician before hand and simply tell them that you’re going to stop drinking and are worried about withdrawal. You’ve got about a 50-50 chance of the doctor handling it well as some are used to dealing with this and others aren’t.

Something you must know and distinguish if you are to be successful long term.
Physical dependence is real, and in extreme cases can be somewhat dangerous.
However, 'addiction' is made up bullshit as are the terms 'alcoholism' and 'alcoholic'.
Drinking and/or drugging ARE A CHOICE, A BAD BEHAVIOR, not a symptom of some disease. There is no disease involved.
If you don't learn this, you will fail. Period. Quite possible by necking yourself or literally drinking your self to death.
Avoid the disease concept like the plague of death that it is. Rooted in 12 step programs and the like it is a recipe for suicide.

Yes, calling it a 'disease' is fake and gay, getting high or drunk is a choice. Millions have chosen to quit. One cannot choose to stop having a real disease like cancer.
