The corporation has failed to adequately structure your workplace to promote proper motivation in their workforce. They probably lack the professional skill to do so. This a common problem that exists in many workplaces, and sometimes it is accidental, while at other times it is quite intentional. The fact is, depending on the nature and value of the work you do, a cost benefit analysis applies to investment into improving worker motivation. Simply put, some workers are not worth investing in. Others very much are.
