We weren’t very close, but I do talk to his son frequently. I cannot even say goodbye to him on the hospice ward because the hospital is only allowing 1 visitor per day due to some Covid rules they’ve put into play. That would mean that if I went tomorrow morning, then the hospital would turn away one of my two cousins or worse yet his wife of almost 40 years.
I had a girlfriend and we broke up recently. Her family is from the Philippines and its even worse there. Each island is a province (there are like 7000 islands, I think) and people haven’t been able to leave their province this whole time to see their elderly relatives for 7 months and vice versa due to quarantine. Can you imagine that? It enrages me to think about. These bastard politicians in every country who propagated this irrational fear knowingly should be hunted like dogs and torn to pieces. The lives torn apart, the businesses broken, the fortunes and nest eggs destroyed...these bastards have to pay.
No syrupy well wishes, please. Thanks.

LOL. You guys watch too many spy movies. These wards are small and have like 6 nurses and 10 orderlies. They’ll know right away I don’t belong there. I’m going to call them later this morning. Like I said: since it is hospice care, it may be different from ICU care rules.
