Nobody is going to read a new and complex idea.
Exactly. You have to ease them into it. It's a process. You basically have to fill the role the church filled 200 years ago.
You insert yourself into their lives. At first do it in a way that's entirely fun. Ask them if they want to come with you to the local Ren Fair, or go shooting, or go to a football game, go hiking, etc. While you're out hiking or in the car going to the game talk to them about the culture war. Ask their opinions. Do they think women are more happy if they have children? What should be the right amount of immigration? Did you hear them chanting kill whitey at the riot, doesn't that offend you? You're more informed so you can guide the conversation in the right direction. Each time you want to move them one step to the right, if you move too far they'll balk. Talk about your politics in terms of self improvement and improvement of the community. You don't have a strong stance on if abortion/drugs should be legal, you have a strong stance that they're harmful. Immigration, anti-natalism are harmful. Transgenderism and pro-gays creating confusion in kids is evil. etc. Notice how these are all moral/emotional positions, you can't logically convince these people, but you can show them the logical chain that arrives at the moral and just conclusion.
Once you've created the momentum you just have to keep pushing it in the right directions. Slowly your friend group will come around to your politics, and they'll peer pressure the other lemmings into agreeing.
