Many times. And now it comes down to teaching others, just like the communists do. Teach ten others, and those ten each teach ten, and so on, and soon everyone knows a little bit of something.

What else do you recommend reading?

The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi. Teaches men how to understand and operate relationships regarding intimacy, business, biological nature ect.

Epictetus How to Be Free. Stoic philosophy from his encheiridian.

A History of Central Banking by Stephen Mitford Goodson. Title explains all.

These are just to name a few off the top of my head. I agree with your sentiment that we must obtain knowledge and pass it down to others.
