No, but it does prevent it. Nicotine damages the ACE2 receptors in your alveolar cells. This is the receptor that the coronavirus attaches to.

My pet unsubstantiated conspiracy theory is that organic tobacco is not actually good for you, and the cancer mostly comes from additives and pesticides. Maybe its actually good for you, if it can prevent disease.
