I have a literal (worthless) degree in this bullshit and people look at me like I have a third eye when I tell them they can't trust CNN.

They are either comically over confident in their ability to spot and resist propaganda or so afraid of becoming unmoored from the 'objective' consensus that they will double down on the delusion.

The former are too busy pulling those peky bones out of the fish to realize that it's full of more mercury than a thermometer. The latter is offended that you would question the quality of the meal period. After all it says 'gourmet' right on the fishsticks box.

Social pressure also comes into play here. Knowing the truth and speaking it is isolating. 99.99% of women will never be redpilled on their own because of this, fear of social rejection is worse than death to them. It’s both the media literally telling you what you should think and the social reinforcement of the proles that keeps people from seeing through the bullshit. Actually intelligent people fall for the most crazy of lies because of this. They have it down to a science. It’s like super marketing but they are selling you an ideology and know that it will be socially reinforced by friends, social media and even universities.

Too many fake intellectuals that have to double down because they can never be wrong, and have to join the intellectual band wagon even if it's wrong because they need the free points (they're dumb and need some bonus points).

Yeah that's what I mean by 'unmoored from the consensus.' It encapsulates the vapid disinterest of the females ("Uhh like who cares if Don Lemon lied, politics is for loosers, I'm going to get wasted!"), The eternal boomer ("If I start down that road it will be harder to toe the line and I must consoooom!"), etc.

The first group of people want to know the truth but don't have the faculties to obtain it. The second group believes ignorance is bliss, they are afraid of what they will find and would rather wear the blinders.
