So, where do your dreams come from when you sleep? I suppose you are just making conscious decisions while you are literally not conscious?

That being addressed, I will agree that a large chunk (80%, give or take, especially anything considered truly "modern") of psychology is complete bull crap.

Why don't you just say you don't know what dreams are, like ethical scientists do?

Also, here is a pretty interesting (in my opinion) video on the subject, which I think you'll enjoy one way or another:

It's not super long, only a little over 5 minutes I believe.

For off, I am not a scientist. Secondly, who says I'm ethical?? Thirdly, I will say that: I do not know what dreams are, no one really does. But I DO know when I make a decision vs when I have zero control of things in a dream. Sure there is some room for debate about what constitutes a true choice.. for example, your taste in music? Not really a choice, though it may feel like one, and that's not even mentioning that fact that your brain prepares for taking action on the choice you've made before you've even made a choice. There still remains a difference in brain wave activity and ability to control ones actions when awake vs when asleep (or conscious vs unconscious).

Now, why won't you answer my original question instead of dodging? Y'know, since you want to bring ethics into it.

Your argument that there isn't a subconscious because people have blamed it for things it didn't / couldn't do is invalid.

oh yea that's brilliant. Did your subconscious tell you your point was valid?

You don't have something that does not exist.

I'm pretty sure the autonomic , impulse actions of the brain behind the frontal lobes exists.

Ulcers/gastritis caused by H. Pylori infection of stomach lining. This was discovered in the 80's. Untreated infections can ultimately lead to cancer.

Yes, however the millions and millions of people that know for a fact in their own heads that stress allows the bacteria to multiply are all around you. The "stress" bullshit centered around the idea of a subconscious sticks like glue generalisation.

It came out of the post Freudian psychoanalytical circular world of the protected class of self appointed intellectuals who traded reality in for words.

Incorrect. It originated w the German philosopher Friedrich Schelling. Which Freud stole lile a good jew does.

The idea that there is no subconcious is akin to saying your OS has no kernel but only a shell.

No it is not. You can't go life through confusing a brain with computer code and expect to be taken seriously.

Show me which neurons in your brain connect to the subconscious.

I'll wait and analyze my dreams by superimposing anything I want to make them seem important, while you go find those connections, because I'm really curious.

By the way, It came out of the post Freudian psychoanalytical circular world of the protected class of self appointed intellectuals who traded reality in for words. Who invented it in the very first place is irrelevant, doesn't matter and doesn't change where it's entry into the wider word came from, because Schelling didn't push it down the throats of the wealthy and influential like Freud did.

And on top of that I wake up at 4 am these days and am genuinely about to go to sleep. Perchance to dream

Its very obvious that any discussion is pointless as you've already made up your mind and you aren't actually open to discussion. This thread would be a fruitless waste of my time. I've already shown you don't even know where the idea originates. To be frank you sound a great deal like the Space Is Fake and the Transvestigation believers.

But tell me, where do those dreams come from? That certainly isn't conscious thought. Are they messages from god? Transmissions from Planet X?
