They are so smug and they keep telling themselves that they really got those rotten conservatives this time. But honestly, I don't get it at all. America is celebrating independence day. Having a country mattered so much to you, you declared war on one of the world's superpowers and kicked them out to start your own country.
#AllCountriesMatter, what are they trying to say? It's not like the slogan for 4th of july is #AmericaCountryMatters, so the analogy with BLM doesn't work at all. How stupid are these people? And are they trying to say that their own country doesn't matter? If that's the case, why don't they leave?
Finally, it's also trending in Europe. And I wonder how far this will go. Lots of European countries celebrate their own independence day, many signifying different events in history like liberation from nazi-germany or from the ussr. A lot of normal people will have no understanding whatsoever if these liberation days will be disturbed and perverted with the idea that having been liberated doesn't matter.

There's been a half-assed attempt to call today UK's independence day because today most of our pubs, restaurants etc are allowed to re-open. Or is that today was chosen for the re-opening date because it coincides with US's independence day? One or the other.

Yep. Looks to me like yet another pathetic attempt at furthering their globalist agenda.

it does look rather like your independence day is under attack, first hollywood did their bit by making it a sci-fi film about saving the world from aliens, now there seems to be more effort to make it about the world. All very clear erasure techniques.
Wouldn't be too quick to dismiss it as pathetic, from here I'd say stage 1 was a complete success. To most of the world's youth your day is already erased, ask them what today is and it's Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith.
