2020-06-10 | Coronavirus vaccine: AstraZeneca, Moderna chase outbreaks before they disappear - The Washington Post
'One Chinese company, Sinovac, told Sky News that the biggest challenge the company faces is also the low number of cases in China. '
'It may be harder to get true informed consent from volunteers, especially where literacy is low or translation is required. '
'David Heymann, an infectious-disease specialist at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, noted that vaccine trials are especially hard when people are in lockdown. '
'A Sinovac executive said the company is in discussion with European countries to perhaps test the vaccine there — though trials in Europe may run into the same problem. '
'Given that countries around the world want access to a coronavirus vaccine, questions about who gets it first and how to share it fairly are already front and center. '
I do not make it a habit to trust dailymail. They also cite a study conducted by Work Safety but it is just about impossible to pull up that study. They also mention that the masks are not fitted properly to stop the virus and that hand washing is better but they do not say that the masks are ineffective even if fitted properly.
I have looked at as much of the evidence that I can find and tried to use my brain and I have come to the conclusion that wearing a mask does help, especially if the person wearing the mask is the kind of person who coughs loud and strong without covering their mouth.
Aside from people like you thinking that everybody who is wearing a mask is just an obedient servant, wearing a mask has no downsides for me. I choose to wear a mask and will continue to do so.

Imagine being in despair that more people didn’t get sick and die, so you were unable to develop a product.
