I went to Walmart today. They had a specific entrance for everyone to go through. I went under the tape and walked right into the front door. A Walmart employee, an older gentleman, gave me instruction and I retorted. Here is the exchange - as to the best of my memory:
Walmart Employee: Annoyed - "Just walk through the designated entrance, Sir!"
Me: Defiantly - "No!" ( as I walk away).
Walmart Employee: (mumbles something)
Me: Pissed off - "What the fuck did you just say?! You got a problem?!"
Walmart Employee: "No, I was talking to another customer, Sir."
Me: "That's what I fuckin' thought!"
I realized something. I was being an asshole. That man was just doing his job and I swore at him and threatened him. I did my best to be menacing and mean. I left the store without the item I wanted to purchase. I wish I could say that I apologized to him, but I didn't. I walked out a minute later in shame.
It was disrespectful of my elder and an unmanly display of whimsical emotion. I should have conducted myself in a manly, proper and composed fashion. And, displayed my discontent in a more dignified way.
I apologize.

You're coming here looking for folks to tell you was you did was okay since you're apologizing for it but it ain't. You should have had the balls to apologize to that old man. What you did was wrong and if you really want to make it right you go there tomorrow and you tell him you're sorry.

I did go back and apologize later, actually. I wasn't looking for VOAT to tell me it was okay. I knew it wasn't okay and I took care of it. I confessed that I was an asshole. Now, you're being an asshole by piling on after the fact.

I would suggest you figure out what made you do that because it's a problem.
