Think about it for a minute.
For small businesses, advertising is a painful expense, but a necessary evil. For large businesses, it's just the cost of doing business, and the more the better to drum out the competition. In both cases, the customer hates it. For consuming media, less advertising is always better. HBO made their mint by providing content without it. Same with streaming services.
I mean, every once in a while an add comes along that makes you laugh, but other than that who wants to wait five minutes for their show to come back on, or scroll down past obvious bullshit, or pay more for something owned by the same company, or whatever? The consumer knows what they need. Advertisement has become the art of lying to the consumer about which product is better or newest or cheapest or otherwise just the best. In essence, it's the art of distraction.
Except now the nation is stuck indoors and has nothing better to do than pay attention.
Because of the quarantine, I had a conversation with my neighbor today, who just happens to work in television. Local, not MSM. She says everyone is pulling their advertisements, or changing them to things like "for when this is over, remember that we're still here!" All that bullshit subliminal crap of branding and rebranding over and over again is getting thrown out, except for in the MSM which knows what teat its sucking at.
Now, I do believe Covid is real. I don't know whether or not it was released intentionally, but I don't think we're the ones who did it. Rather, I think it was an attempt to kill off a bunch of elderly trump supporters, and the black hats were caught with their dicks out. Now they're facing a miniature guillotine, and the only choices are flip the switch or tell the truth.
They're going to lie their asses off until the last second.
