The chances of that really happening are slim to none.

having kids is no guarantee against social isolation in old age. The best laid plans of mice and parents can go badly astray (looking at folk I know). Ok, as a non-breeder I do feel more than a little smug. All those folk busily having kids and a miserable life in the process and telling themselves their kids will be there for them and when they reach 40 they'd be lucky to be on speaking terms with their kids and come very old age their kids want them to die because, quite rightly, they are a pain in the neck!

The chances of the single 30 year old poster being slim are none.
