Are they saying that her kidney failure was directly related to that drug? There's a thousand and one reasons why kidneys can fail. I'm sorry, you lost your mother. I lost mine too.

Healthy until last years blood test came back with elevated cholesterol. Doctor pushed atrovastatin. Went downhill from there.

I'm really sorry. My mom was killed in a auto accident when she was 46. It will be hard for a while but but just remind yourself that you'll feel better in time.

The stuff they give people for cholesterol is so much worse for them than just having moderately elevated cholesterol. Plus cholesterol itself is not bad for you, its a secondary byproduct of the true problem which is diet. Cholesterol is the repair molecule and janitor of your body and its production is increased when your body responds to illness, stress or injury.

The drugs they give you wreak havoc on your kidneys and liver. The mentality is like putting people on chemo for things like food poinsoning.
