Revelation 2:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
He's not condemning all jews, merely those who claim to be jews yet are not. So what he's really saying is he doesn't like people pretending to be jews, not that he has a problem with actual jews. I don't know where anyone would get that he's saying they're all bad. People infer what they want to believe so that uncomfortable sensation of cognitive dissonance doesn't kick in; yeah, mental gymnastics.
