If a company doesn't have controls to match invoices with orders, it will be paid pretty much 100% of the time. Any serious company will have such controls by now, I imagine.

Prosecutors said he created a company in Latvia that bore the same name as an Asian-based computer hardware manufacturer, Quanta, and then sent fraudulent phishing emails to Google and Facebook to steer money to his accounts that were supposed to go to the legitimate hardware company.

You'd be surprised how lax some organizations are. Government Agencies are pretty hit and missing internal controls. Colleges are regularly targeted with this scam.

Depends on how many "diversity hires" a company has. As has been already shown, Google must have achieved 100% diversity in their accounting department.
