I wanted to point this out since the whole thing reeks of sabotage and normies will never talk about this openly.
I'm thinking of getting a new phone/laptop and decided that I'd rather have China spy on me than (((CIA))) because at least Xi won't suicide me or lob a Mercedes at my car during my commute.
Edit: I should have added that the failures of USB-C on Lenovos products was widespread and a huge PR hit to them publicly. Some of the thunderbolt chips were physically fried and unfixable via software. Media was quick to point the finger at Lenovo and attack their reputation as an enterprise solution. I don't care about China but I hate Intel even more for their faggotry.
Is the Librem a really a viable alternative to android/apple phones? It seems promising but being in it's infancy, it seems pretty limited. I'm really hoping it gains traction, but I'm waiting till it advances a bit to jump in.
They have. With backdoors. For quite a while actually.
They also stopped being the best if you haven't noticed. Amd is where it's at now, it's CA based so you might not like that lol. This is the guy behind the curtain: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Papermaster (cto) - the CEOs a random girl

All things being equal (and assuming they both spy just as much as the other), you'd be stupid to overpay for Intel when you can get a Ryzen that performs just as well for less money and requires less power.
Sort: Top

How about "that rotund commie fuckhead who's such a pussy he can't stand being criticized"?
Or maybe Chinktator?

I assume you are referring to this:
Got any information that should make us this Intel is actually under israeli control?
[–] kdragon [S] 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
They openly admit it: https://m.jpost.com/Israel-News/Intel-CEO-We-think-of-ourselves-as-an-Israeli-company-as-much-as-a-US-company-484209

First time hearing this, thanks for sharing. It's quite amusing how privacy minded individuals don't recognize who is doing the spying and censoring.

so they come preinstalled with viruses?
[–] BalfourYourFace 1 point 11 points 12 points (+12|-1) ago
Yeah it's called windows 10 and office 365
[–] Sir_Ebral 0 points 11 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago
Yeah, the viruses are in form of hardware backdoors.

The backdoor is literally burned into the hardware. It doesnt matter what you install. Welcome to the future

Remember that Intel still has critical design flaws that can't and will never be, fixed.

Aw dammit, does this mean goats should switch to AMD?

Everyone should. Intel cpus are literal garbage compared to amd now. Amd is beating them in performance and price.

My next build will be Ryzen for sure.

Who owns AMD?

Can you buy a laptop/computer NOT made in China?
Foxcon builds all(?) laptops and just rebrands them
[–] Nalbarcam ago
