I agree up to the point of

Poor people can only solve their dilemma by increasing income

There are plenty of people with higher incomes that still live an instant gratification lifestyle which means no matter the income they are paycheck to paycheck - hand to mouth. Learning proper fiscal habits and how to delay gratification for a more ideal long term goal is what has to happen. Poor people have to learn how to operate Within the current system and make choices that serve them better instead of being impulsive. I get the mentality. I have several poor family members and I’ve listened to it all my life. But no one is ever going to convince me that buying gas station snacks vs. groceries is a good idea. It’s poverty mentality that keeps people poor.
