All of a sudden in the late 00's everyone signed up and started giving and receiving info.
Why did people take the centralized bait? How did we not see the writing on the wall as a collective?
People allowed their kids to sign onto this? How?
Please, someone describe the climate at the time that allowed this major blunder to happen across the entire country.

I guess I am just used to being away from the platform. Every time someone tells me to check their business on Facebook I tell them "Unfortunately I can't go to your website because Facebook has banned me for thinking incorrectly. Please consider setting up your own website so everyone can access it." Half the time in libtown they look at me like I am the evil one.
