I have nobody else to bitch to.
I finally have the money to do something halfway decent, but now I've lost months of my life trying to get these spics to show up to an appointment they themselves made. Supposedly professional engineering firms just tell me to come in several weeks in a row to just blow me off at the last second. The students aren't much better, as they're wrapped up in their own mediocre projects for contests they literally never win. I tried with the local SBA offices, but those spics are no better either. Supposedly they're swamped with work, but that was months ago; and I was supposedly going to get a call two weeks ago to set up an appointment, but, surprise surprise, fucking nobody called.
The only one I could get to respond was a supposed "mentor" for SBA's SCORE thing, and we've spoken for a grand total of 10 minutes, with his advice just being to talk to engineer students, to find someone who has people skills, and talk to VR for funding. How the fuck do you people get even one person on board? Is this problem really just down to where I live?

Find Cubans who emigrated to Florida, and then moved to Puerto Rico. Cubans tend to work their asses off - the ones who fled Castro were the upper and middle working classes. They have a work ethic built into them.
Everyone who I dealt with who was puertorriqueno was lazy - the ones with motivation all moved off island to the mainland. Whenever I dealt with Cubans, everything was solid and easy.
Orders went in after a couple of days, you just have to plan wait time, lead time, bitching time, and screaming time into your schedule.
