Great idea! You can bring them to drag queen story time, because they dress like clowns there. It will give a better context to all the clown makeup for the kids and in a way not messing them up as much as realizing they're transformers.
And kids love costumes. It would be fucking hilarious to see kids wailing that they want to see the clowns or the princesses or whatever. And bring books that align with your costume and basically have a cooler and wholesome story time outside the library.
Thank you for that. Once we convince the children the transformers are clowns, we can probably induce enough concern into them by having them watch the movie IT a few times.
