Good to know. I have books stacked up on these families but haven’t had time to read them. I’m related to Glendunnings and Worthingtons too, but the last sounds more English than Scottish.

Glendunning is probably an alternative spelling of Glendinning. They were a lowlander sept of clan Douglas. Clan Douglas was also a lowlander/Sassenach clan. Also "de Glendonwyn". Worthington is definitely not Scottish.

There are two clans Fraser, both were lowlanders originally, but one settled in the highlands in the 1300s iirc.

Copeland was Norse but it's just a place name.
