To think what a difference it has made with the adoption of casual ready-wear over garb one must put time and effort into maintaining. Yes, this trend has revolutionized the textiles and garment industries to benefit the low-end consumer, but at what intangible cost to society as a whole? If clothes didn't matter at all, we'd all still be wearing loin-cloths. I'm not saying this is the only contributing factor to societal entropy but it appears to be at least somewhat relevant.

It's absolutely relevant, because fashion over reason is based on the temptations of vanity, greed and hedonism, which the industrialization of fashion by jews fully exploits to divide people by class. Wearing clothes that don't have a reasonable function (protection, carrying capacity, camouflage etc.) is behavior based on low self esteem or peer pressure. Marketing under capitalism is based on exploiting self esteem to create peer pressure; it's how they create trends.

I'm still going to wear a suit to every job interview, even if it's a phone interview.

It's all been socially engineered from the beginning, pretty much everything you see, touch, hear and taste was perfectly engineered to make you want it or buy it. I thought anyone with half a brain knew this.
