Your view of male/female relations is why our society is so messed up and we have a fractured culture, supported by (((Hollywood))) and leading to all forms of depravity. Yes, men and women coming together is for "breeding" purposes and raising the next generation while having a life mate to share your life with.
Abuse, rejection, and other physical or psychological harms are common reasons for a warped sense of sex and the sexes. It needs to stop and the first step is encouraging modesty again and healthy male/female boundaries.
MY view? By saying a 65 year old shouldn't marry a 26 year old to breed with?
The fuck is wrong with you? Even if he does knock her up and she manages to stay with him without ruining his life through infidelity and divorce, which will happen, he will be in his fucking 70s when his kid is a teenager. Good luck being any kind of dad when you're that age.

Yeah, like dating someone remotely close to your age so you can actually have a spouse and a partner and not a fuck doll 40 years younger than you?
Yes, your view because apparently in your view he should just be having sex with her than marrying her and having sex with her.
Regarding age, why do you think we look at age? It's because there is a gateway for reasonable decision-making. She is past that point and if you think that still matters... look at the beach picture... dude is more fit than 75% of men her age. Yes he'll be 70 by the time they have teenagers but most likely will live until 90 anyhow and already have done his job with those kids:
Raising them right.
Edit: My point is traditional values and healthy living should trump anything else, including age. The era of the "free love" 60-70s was a bane on our culture but it extends into today and is responsible, along with other influences, for our fractured culture as a people.
