Went to buy something on Amazon, since I cannot find it anywhere else
they managed to acrivate Prime even if I do not want it, proceed to deactivate it immediately and they keep pestering to enable it back.
Whay are they screwing us ? Because the are KILLING all the competition and SCREWING the delivery guy
With prime you get a compulsive buy behaviour (I am not paying delivery)
They can do it since they basically pay NO TAXES on the people thay "hire" (they are all "contracotrs"), normal companies have real people and pay A LOT MORE.
I hate it when companies do this and the general population just says "oooohhhhh shiny" and just go with it

Cancelling audible subscription is even more of a hassle. You can't do it from the app or from their mobile site (which your browser defaults to if you're on mobile). They make it as difficult as possible to cancel while still maintaining that plausible deniability that they're not doing it.

Audible resubscribed me twice without my authorization, and auto billed me for months each time before I caught on. I called to complain, and they refunded me every cent I ever spent on the service, including when I was actually using it. I think the woman I was talking to understood the scam and was doing her part to fuck them. I told her I was happy to pay for the service when I was using it, but she insisted on giving me all of my money back. Works for me. Definitely not signing up again though. I just wish I could download the file for the audiobook without having to subscribe to Audible. I never thought I would be torrenting audiobooks...
