My parents are being wholly truthful.
A parent's kids are the easiest for them to lie to. Not saying you're wrong, but if you can't acknowledge that you may have been seriously duped, your conclusion is unreliable. One way to test this is see how they respond if you assert that your mother did drink a lot before and during the pregnancies.

In my family our parents have always lived under the concept of don't lie to your kids, and be open about everything. My dad was never a heavy drinker, and back when my mum did drink it was 10% beer in a mix of Sprite and cola. That story has never changed, nor their account of not drinking before and during conception. They quit drinking before my elder brother was conceived, as I recall.
I get what you're saying though. But did you know that, at least in my country, evidence has proved through the years that if the mother didn't drink, but the father did, it still can cause fetal alcohol syndrome. Two of my nephews have it, in both cases the mother didn't drink since they were actively trying to conceive. Rumor has it my cousins mother never drank in her life, yet he has one of the worst cases of fetal alcohol syndrome in our region. Sound lad as an adult, but without Ritalin he's barely human. He also drinks a lot now like his old man does and it's affecting him too. Woke though, researches qanon and pizzagate and wants to see the govt turned to ash.
These other kids are a product of the mkultra kid programming and the lgbtq, climate change, transgender agenda. Fucking tragic... Makes me so glad my one sis with one of these special kids homeschools so he and his sister don't get brainwashed. I said in an earlier post she believes all kinds of nonsense, but she is woke enough to want her kids to not be led by the perverted ways of the world at large.
