I think the internet is fucking society where people can be radicalized super young because of eco Chambers. I'm glad I was an early user when it was kind of fringe and pretty much everything was anonymous and run by actual smart people and not this weird sillicon valley thought police types. I know a lot of people who won't hang out with people because they have different political views when that should be only a very small part of what you are

Yes, there is this radical shallowness of mind, body and spirit going on. People are inclined to be lazy in all areas of life, they have been conditioned to take the shortest most convenient route.
We all struggle with this but truly being humble may be the greatest gift. Even if I disagree with you on one point, I bet you, your life experience could teach me a valuable lesson elsewhere. This used to be the way, the problem lies that a lot of people do not have much life experiences so their value to themselves and the greater whole becomes irrelevant as they have been brainwashed to not make personal progress but to follow the status quo.
That's a really good way of looking at it, and I definitely do feel that way when I met someone new and usually when I get to know them they are always surprisingly interesting.
