Isaiah 41:

6 They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.

Work sets you free, by the Jews own fucking scripture, the words that inspired Jesus’ prime commandment: love thy neighbor. A carpenter working alongside a goldsmith on a common project, something that melts to bind things together: this is how true, functional community relationships are formed.

Work is the foundation of any society. Those able-bodies who exist without performing communal labor will never be anything but an anti social subversive and destructive drag on society who can never even understand real human relationships and can only see economics as a dehumanized numbers game where the only thing that matters is how many points I have, not how many others I encourage to live good lives.
