V for Vendetta was more anti-capitalist than anything. That's not inherently left wing. Capitalism and communism are two sides of the same coin.

Capitalism is a system that requires the government to outlaw direct free trade between individuals and groups. It inevitably becomes a bizarre forest of complex anti-competitive laws and legal prohibitions on the production and distribution of certain goods and services outside of approved syndicates. Capitalism and Communism are both enemies of actual Free Trade.
