Voat is dedicated to freedom of speech, first and foremost. What those of us who have been here for a long time have learned is, that whenever there is an influx of people not used to freedom of speech they do exactly what it is that you are trying to do, and that is restrict our speech. The use of the words that offend you are more of a canary in the coal mine than actual denigration in many cases of use here. Using those words is reassuring to the userbase here and it reaffirms the free speech is still foremost

Just because you can do something doesn’t necessarily mean you should.

I think I have misunderstood the point of Voat, I kinda thought the free speech was aimed more at topics rather than words.

I find it ironic and also quite sad that one of the few places on the internet where you can openly discuss how whites are being fucked over by Other races will be avoided by most white people because of unnecessary racism.

It’s not like many niggers or kikes are gonna read these threads so it seems really counterproductive to scare away people who should be reading the info here to offend or stick it to people who would never come here

The JIDF is here, so there are lots of kikes that get to read along. What you call unnecessary is what is referred to around here as the VOAT immune system. It's a double edge sword, really, as voat does get to discuss topics that are verboten nearly everywhere else, but it's like the old saying. I may not like what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it

The definition of free and/or speech doesn't exclude words or topics
